The Invisalign® Treatment Process
The Invisalign® treatment process begins with an impression made of your teeth so that the aligners will be created with the most precise and accurate fit possible. Once the clear aligners have been created, you will be given a series of trays with aligners that have been designed to gently and progressively pull your teeth into a more desirable position. Every two weeks, you will change out your aligners for the next in the series. Total treatment time typically lasts between 9 and 15 months. The teeth aligners should be worn throughout most of the day; however, you can remove them for eating, drinking, and daily teeth cleaning.
Invisalign and a Smile Makeover
Dr. Kosdon can often combine Invisalign® treatment with other dental procedures to give patients a comprehensive smile makeover.
